Description

The measurement of dynamic gas exchange is one of the most exciting links for Cardio-Respiratory medicine combining all the measurements of diffusion, perfusion and ventilation, the full combination of heart / lung interaction.

The Ergocard series is ideal for this measurement. The introduction of discrete models allows the functionality of the instrument to meet individual needs.

The CLINICAL version has a small footprint for either desktop or trolley mounting, ideal in the Exercise Clinic or independent Doctors office, the rapid exchange ‘plug and play’ analyser pack minimises downtime and service needs.

The module is non-expandable offering the fundamental measurements of gas exchange, ventilation and ECG. This model is a low cost, low maintenance, low consumable work horse.

The PROFESSIONAL version used the larger case format enabling the addition of extra test functions, the Cardiac output by Carbon dioxide re-breathing or C2H2 dissolution in the blood, the impact of Heliox breathing on ventilation, indirect calorimetry (Nutrition) assessments, Hypoxic and Hyperoxic work, mixing chamber and Douglas bag methods. This enables the most professional system to be constructed to meet both clinical and research needs. This system provides the best solution to the full study of Cardio-Respiratory function.

The TEACHING version, this borders on the Clinical model, offering a more dedicated operating role, this model can perform a simpler range of options specific to the teaching or sports medicine application. The Wingate test, the mixing chamber method, Douglas bag analysis and even simple Gas analysers.

This is ideal for outlining the functions of Exercise Testing and gas analysis in a teaching environment.
